The Catch Seafood & Sushi: Peruvian-Asian Fusion in Northwood Village

The Catch Seafood & Sushi brings its Peruvian-Asian fusion concept to West Palm Beach's Northwood Village, opened by husband-and-wife team chef Jorge Paz and Tara Barnes after nearly a decade of running their original Lake Park location together. Paz, a Johnson & Wales graduate with prior experience at the Ritz-Carlton and Café Boulud Palm Beach, built the new restaurant inside the former Legacy Lounge & Restaurant space.

Peruvian Ceviche Meets Hand-Rolled Sushi

The menu pairs sushi with Peruvian seafood traditions, offering dishes like ceviche mixto, grilled octopus, macadamia nut-crusted snapper, and lomo saltado alongside hand-rolled sushi rolls and fresh raw bar selections. The Catch Bucket, a hearty mix of lobster tail and seafood in white-wine garlic broth, is another example drawn from the current menu.

A Tiki Patio With a Storied Bar

The dining room seats roughly 132 guests and includes a full bar with a dedicated sushi counter, opening onto a tiki-style patio topped with a palm-thatched roof. The bar itself is reported to have originated from Henry Flagler's historic Royal Poinciana Hotel, adding a distinctive layer of genuine local history to the space.
