Okeechobee Steak House has operated in West Palm Beach since 1947, when the Lewis family opened it as the Okeechobee Drive-In. Curtis Lewis renamed the business in 1974 to better reflect its focus on steaks, and it remains in its original location today, run by the third generation of the same family.
