La Masseria PBG: Puglian Cooking Backed by an Award-Winning Wine Vault

La Masseria PBG brings Southern Italian cooking to PGA Boulevard, courtesy of three chef-partners who built their reputations at Italian restaurants in New York City and Rhode Island before opening in Palm Beach Gardens. The restaurant was founded by chef-partners Pino Coladonato, Peppe, and Enzo, with General Manager Massimo De Luca overseeing the dining room. Seafood is sourced with unusual hands-on effort, and imported Italian cured meats and cheeses are flown in directly. Dishes that have appeared on the menu include homemade pappardelle alla bolognese, handmade potato gnocchi, crispy fried zucchini, veal Milanese, margherita pizza, black truffle risotto, branzino, and seafood-forward frutti di mare, along with a ricotta cheesecake for dessert and house-made limoncello.

La Masseria PBG has built one of the more serious wine programs in the area, with a list running into the thousands of bottles and particular depth in Piedmont and Tuscany. The wine collection has earned Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence, and a visible wine vault is part of the dining room's decor.
