Brioche Bakery & Cafe: A Parisian Love Story in Delray Beach

Saturday 5 September 2026·By Brioche Bakery & Cafe

Brioche Bakery & Cafe began with a leap of faith. Andrea and Maxime, a Parisian couple who met while working at the storied Ladurée Paris — he as a pastry chef, she running front-of-house — spent eight years running their own traditional bakery in southern Paris. Then they sold their home and business and relocated to Florida to start over, opening the doors of Brioche Bakery & Cafe in Delray Beach on Valentine's Day 2025, a date they say represents "the heart we've poured into every tray."

The Concept

True to its name, the bakery focuses exclusively on French brioche in all its forms, both sweet and savory ("sous toutes ses formes, sucrées comme salées"). The philosophy is entirely from-scratch, artisanal baking using traditional French technique — no shortcuts, no imports.

What to Order

Standouts include croissants made with French butter, and a lineup of signature sandwiches built on the bakery's own brioche, including a tuna sandwich and the "Eggcellent" breakfast sandwich. Sweet and savory brioche creations round out the daily case, all baked fresh each morning.

Ambiance

Visitors consistently describe the space as warm, cozy, and distinctly European, likening it to stepping into a charming French village. Andrea and Maxime are known for greeting guests personally, carrying the same hospitality that first drew them to the industry in Paris.

Brioche Bakery & Cafe is located at 410 E Linton Blvd in Delray Beach and is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
